My bed is so comfortable and soft! It fits my college twin xl perfectly. The only this is that it came with only one pillow case per sheet set but they gave me two pillows. I highly recommend buying this for your college dorm room.

This has been one of the best buys. We are in the process of relocating and wo our belongings so I ordered this set and two air mattresses to be able to stay in our new home until the movers delivered our things. These are totally sufficient for our needs, well made, soft and comfortable, and a great value. Two thumbs up! Would buy again and highly recommend.

Good quality for the money. Pillows are a little small and sheets are just ok. We brought better quality pillows to the dorm. Recommend upgrading the egg crate to afoam topper… this egg crate was flimsy and tore easily. Blanket and comforter are perfect for this new college student though! Ample sized. Covers the X-long twin bed. Happy overall!

What size beds are at Montana State University?

The majority of beds on campus require specially sized sheets, mattress pads, and comforters to fit campus mattresses (Twin Extra-Long).

What are the materials used in bed making?

What can old sheets be used for?

There are numerous wonderful uses for used sheets if you are unable to donate your bedding. The material can be made into: blankets for picnics. Tapestries table cloths. ironing pads covers for furniture during painting.

What are duvets made of?

A duvet is made of two pieces of fabric that are stitched together and filled with goose down, feathers, or synthetic fibers, or any other type of insulating material. A duvet is made to fit over your sheets and keep you warm at night. It is fluffy and insulating.

How are fitted sheets made?

Measure the mattress, as directed. Measure your mattress before you begin for the best fit possible. Delete the Corners. Cut the fabric to the size that you need for your sheet. Sew the corners of the sheet. Strike the edges. Elastic should be sewn to the sheet. Finish your fitted sheet. Use your new fitted sheet to cover your mattress.

How do I make my fitted sheet tighter?

Making your fitted sheets fit a smaller mattress only requires the use of a bed band. A triangle band or a pair of bands are both acceptable. Attach them by snapping them to the sheets’ corners. Once tightened, use the included adjustments.

How many yards does it take to make a queen size fitted sheet?

Half-width panels are stitched to the sides of the middle panel, which is 96 inches long by the width of the fabric, to create the sides. You will need two pieces of 54-inch fabric that are each 96 inches long, or 2 3/4 yards each.

What do you do if your fitted sheet is too small?

Your fitted sheet’s elastic should be removed. To determine how much fabric is needed to add a border to the sheet’s four sides, lay the sheet flat on the mattress. To determine how much new elastic to purchase, save the elastic.

Why do my fitted sheets always come off?

Because the pockets are either too deep or too shallow for your mattress, a fitted sheet won’t hold the sheet taut if it doesn’t have the proper pocket depth for your bed.

Why do my bed sheets get little balls on them?

The technical term for those tiny fuzz balls on your sheets is pilling. When cotton fibers degrade and tangle, this happens. You frequently notice fitted sheets pilling close to the foot of the bed because it’s usually due to friction.

How do I keep my fitted sheet from riding up?

Use an under-sheet beneath a fitted sheet to keep your bed linens in place. Lack of friction could cause bedding to slide, especially when made of softer materials like Egyptian Cotton or Silk. Try attaching the top corners first. Utilize Rug Corners. Use sheet suspenders. Utilize stretchy bands. Secure with safety pins. The sheets should be zip-locked.
